I stepped into Katz Deli about 4:30am (one of those nights) and was immediately shocked by the immense size of the place and how many people were there at that time. I was handed a ticket didn’t understand it’s purpose until I was leaving that it was to make sure we paid for what we got. I got online to order and watched as they perfectly cut the cured meat. I grabbed a seat and then I got my sandwich …
Pastrami heaven!
I didn’t get it on Rye this time but it was amazing nonetheless. Scratched that off my foodie bucket list, finally, and it was worth every penny (a little over 20 for the sandwich).
